Most Were Not Incumbents or Household Names

Plenty of people assume local elections go to whoever already has the name recognition. That is not what happened this year. Most of our winners were not incumbents, and most were not well known when we started.

What they did have was a plan to show up where voters actually spend their time: on their phones, in their feeds, and in search results. A strong digital operation helps close the name recognition gap, and these five candidates proved it.

Name recognition is no longer something you inherit. You can build it, and you can build it fast.

The WinVotes.ai Playbook Behind the Wins

Not every campaign used every service, but this is the full toolkit we brought to the table this cycle.

01

SEO-first campaign websites, built by Ryan with the best AI models in the world

Every winner had a campaign website built by Ryan Baggott. When a voter searches a candidate's name, race, or ward, the website is what they find. We build each site SEO-first, with fast mobile performance, clean structure, and content aimed at what local voters actually search. Each site comes with lead capture and an AI-powered CRM, so every supporter and volunteer sign-up is logged and never sits unread.

02

Campaign strategy from Ryan

Most of our winners also had Ryan in the strategy seat. That means clear messaging, a content calendar built around the election timeline, and a plan for where each dollar and each video should go.

03

Short vertical video built for the feed

Most of our winners ran video, because video is what stops a thumb. Real people, real neighbors, and real endorsements, edited tight and made for mobile.

04

Paid social ads, run by Ryan

For most of these campaigns, Ryan personally ran the paid social strategy. Ads extend the reach of the content that is already working, and they put the right message in front of the right voters in the final weeks.

05 · OUR OWN INVENTION

AI-generated video scripts and video previews

This is a tactic we created ourselves using our own tools and the best AI models in the world. Before a candidate ever steps in front of a camera, we generate the script and a preview of the finished video. The candidate and the campaign see and approve the message first. The result is fewer reshoots, faster approvals, and better videos on shoot day.

Why Local Candidates Are Winning With Digital

Local races are decided by small margins and by voters who are busy. Most are not reading a mailer for ten minutes. They are scrolling, searching, and asking neighbors. A campaign that shows up in all three places looks organized, looks serious, and feels familiar by the time a voter reaches the ballot.

That is the idea behind everything we build. A website that ranks, a video that gets watched, an ad that reaches the right street, and a system that catches every lead. When those pieces work together, a first-time or lesser-known candidate can compete with the biggest names on the ballot.

Thank You

Thank you to our clients, to the supporters and volunteers who knocked doors, shared videos, and showed up, and to the Beaufort County community for turning out. It is a privilege to do this work in our own backyard.

Congratulations again to Doug, Tamara, Kate, Kraig, and Dr. Galloway. Now go get to work for the Lowcountry.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who offers political digital marketing in Beaufort County, SC?

WinVotes.ai is a political digital marketing firm based in Bluffton, South Carolina, founded by Ryan Baggott. We build SEO-first campaign websites, campaign strategy, short-form video, and paid social advertising for local candidates.

Can a first-time or lesser-known candidate win with digital marketing?

Digital marketing can close the name recognition gap by putting a candidate in front of voters in their feeds and search results. Most of our 2026 winners were not incumbents or well-known names when we started. No tactic guarantees a win, since the candidate, the message, and the ground game all matter.

What is an AI-generated video script and video preview?

It is a tactic we developed with our own tools and leading AI models. Before a candidate films, we generate the script and a preview of the finished video so the candidate and campaign can review and approve the message first. That means fewer reshoots and faster approvals.

What services does WinVotes.ai provide to campaigns?

We provide SEO-first AI-built campaign websites, campaign strategy, video production, paid social advertising management, AI-generated video scripts and previews, and lead capture with an AI-powered CRM. See our pricing page for packages.
